Delicious West Coast fusion. Tasty burritos and the best bubble tea you will find in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

We recently went to their new location on Calhoun and were very impressed. They've only been open for about 6 months and the place is nice on the inside - casual dining but without the grimey tables and ugly decor; it's technically "fast food" but you don't get that feel at all from the way the food is prepared. My boyfriend ordered the crispy duck meal with a thai bubble tea and I ordered the duck noodle bowl with a mocha bubble tea. Hands down, it's the best duck we've had in Fort Wayne, and is on par with duck we've had at high-end restaurants in south Florida. The rice served with the duck meal is perfectly cooked - a little sticky, but tender - and the pickled veggies served with it give you the right acidity to balance out an otherwise indulgent, and somewhat fatty meal. The broth in my noodle bowl was delicious - not salty, great depth of flavor - although I wasn't a huge fan of the egg drop noodles, next time I'll get the udon to try. I also love that the duck was served on the side of the noodle bowl, so you could add it if you wanted, or savor the crispy skin and delicious dipping sauce they served on the side. The bubble teas were also delicious. We'll happily be back! Things I'd change - don't serve the food with plastic dinnerware, especially if you're not going to include a knife - it makes cutting up your food hard and makes it feel more "fast food" than needed.

Great Pho! Unfortunately one of my favorite places to get Pho closed. So I discovered this while shopping in the mall with my wife. They freshly prepared my soup with the right amount of spice and broth. I was impressed for my first time here eating there. I love that I got Sriracha, lime, and others for flavor with it. It seems they make too many things, so I don't think most people know what to order. Pho seems to one thing I can verify is good. The price seemed about average, but the food was tasty.

First time but it sure won't be the last! We went to the South Calhoun location amazing variety on the menu - all Asian. Crispy roast duck and pork belly among other things. I had the Udon noodle bowl with steak which was fantastic. What a sauce. DH had the ginger chicken with fried rice which he declared good but not great. Have never had bubble tea before so cannot compare but it was delicious. Too much, though, with the generous portions. The place was empty when we entered about 6:00 on Friday, but it began filling up shortly thereafter. The restaurant is not huge but roomy and nice and clean. We liked that we could sit on the side away from the music so it was not annoying. Strongly recommend!

Great place! I can say the taste is among the best even back in China. The price is cheap for the food. The staffs are nice and friendly.

West Coast Grill is in the food court at the Glenbrook Mall, in Fort Wayne. West Coast Grill offers an interesting mix of burritos, bubble tea, and authentic Chinese barbecue. The first time I was here, I was shocked to see barbecued duck, pork, and soy sauce chicken on the menu. It is similar to the barbecue you see in the windows of Chinatown restaurants in Chicago or New York. The pork belly, for instance, has diced 1 inch pieces of meat with belly fat and a crispy, crunchy, roasted skin (like pork rinds). The meat is tender and flavored with peppercorn and star anise, so it has a little kick to the flavor. The duck comes with a roasted skin, slightly sweet (glazed), with tender smokey meat. They can be purchased as an entree or separately. A whole duck can be purchased for $20. Pork is $9 per pound. You can order combinations of a dish and a smoothie/bubble tea drink for $10--- an amazing deal. The dish comes with plenty of meat, white rice, and pickled radishes and carrots. The bubble tea is freshly made with real fruits. I ordered mango and passionfruit, and could see the tiny passion fruit seeds in the drink. It tasted like real fruit, much better than smoothies made with powder. The tapioca bubbles were a tad soft but nicely chewy. My only criticism is that there wasn't a lot of them. Bubble tea flavors include strawberry, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, coconut, melon, taro. You can also get popping fruit-flavored balls instead of tapioca. You get to drink these bubble teas with giant straws. The menu includes many hot and cold fruit teas and the traditional Thai ice tea and milk tea. The menu also has a dish I really want to try: noodle soup. I always thought noodle soup would be the perfect mall food (especially in winter): savory, filling, inexpensive, and almost homemade. The West Coast Grill has noodle soup with chicken and noodle soup with duck. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why people would order from Taco Bell when there is a real live Chinatown barbecue joint RIGHT THERE. Boggles the mind. While I was here on a Sunday afternoon, several customers came to order just the bubble tea, and one bought a couple of pounds of roast pork. Run to this place!

I ordered a Vegetarian bowl and a pineapple smoothie at the West Coast Grill. You can tell the chef what to add to your meal. The pickled sweet onions were delicious on top of my black beans, corn, rice and avocado. I was confused because it didn't seem completely like Asian or Mexican food but it was fresh and yummy. The smoothies are wonderful. There are little bubbles in the smoothies that are sweet. I am already craving another one. My 11 year old said he wants to go back to the mall just for the smoothies! Can't wait to try more flavors! Try one...

Best place to eat in the Glenbrook Mall Food court. Chipotle and Qdoba style limited menu with individuality. Great crab rangoon (2) served with meal deal. Mango "Bubble Tea" is new addition that is light and refreshing. Very nice Asian-fusion to a mexican menu.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
